Siesta Key Florida Hotel

The Beach Place is our favorite Siesta Key Florida hotel. We try and vacation in Siesta for a 2 week holiday each year. This was our first year at the Beach Place, and I can assure you we will be back again.

The location is superb, just steps away from the Crescent Beach. My wife and I strolled up and down the beach every morning, and at dusk we enjoyed watching the sun set. Each one is like a light show.

The Siesta Key Village is a little bit of a walk, about 15 minutes from what I recall. But once we were their, we truly enjoyed the restaurants. I also was surprised at how many locals go there for its night life. We made a lot of new friends on our visit.

Our one bedroom Beach cottage was nestled in a tropical garden like setting. Both the bathroom and kitchen were very clean and well kept, and the rooms are nice, but not huge.

The property is full of lush plant life. But my favorite feature is the tiki bar by the heated pool. This made a kind of watering hole for guests to meet other vacationers and cool off during the day. As you can probably tell, I am a social bug!!

The staff was so nice, when my wife and I said we were interested in going for a bike ride, they offered us some to use. Unfortunately we ran out of time and did not get to go for our ride. But it is nice to know how far they will go for the customer.

It is hard to find a place that still has that old Florida charm. I am thrilled that we found it at the Beach Place. See you again next year,
