After a hard day of tanning, it's time to head down to the Siesta Key Village.  It's basically Siesta's very own main street.  Most of the Siesta Key restaurants, and island bars are located here.  Plus there is some great souvenir shops and high end clothing stores.

Siesta Key Beach is world famous for its crystal white sand.  The sand is 99% quartz that has naturally been pulverized into a fine powder.  The reflective quality keeps the sand amazingly cool even on the hottest days.

This makes the Siesta Beaches a magnet for people who want to exercise in a beautiful, tropical setting.  Most will go for a leisurely walk or a bike ride right on the beach!  what an experience!

Siesta Key Rentals

There are plenty of Siesta Key rentals available.  The hardest part is deciding if you want to stay in a Siesta Key condo, house, or hotel.  Of course the length of your stay will be a deciding factor.

Another consideration is how close to the beach is the accommodation.  My thought is always the closer the better.  But just keep in mind that the closer you are to the water, the more it's going to hurt the wallet!
