Siesta Public Beach

Siesta Key Beach is a top day time hang out for locals and vacationers alike.  The great weather and breathtaking views make it a world renown vacation destination.  Its powdery white sand is made up of pulverized quartz, which gives it a reflective quality. That's how it stays cool, and touts a beautiful shimmer.

Though many just want to relax in the sun, you will also see active people on the beaches.  The sand is just firm enough to making jogging or riding a beach cruiser easy and exciting.  Seeing the Gulf of Mexico rolling up on the shore and smelling the salt air will put a whole new dimension to your exercise routine!

And of course there is always the Siesta Key sunset.  People gather up and down the beaches to see the sun slowly slide into the ocean.  The color range is stunning, yellow slowly turning to orange, fading to red.  It is better than a movie!

Siesta Village

The Siesta Key Village is a great place to have fun and meet new people. It has a diverse line up of Restaurants and island themed bars.  The Daiquiri Deck is a great place to start.  They have a huge selection of frozen drinks to choose from.  Then as the night moves on, head down to the Beach Club.  The Club usually has live music and a large crowd of people.
