I
love going out to a top Siesta Key Restaurant. But sometimes
it's
nice to have the option of eating in. Luckily Siesta Key has
a
couple of nice grocery stores to choose from.
If
you are near
Crescent
Beach, then of course the
Crescent
Beach Grocery
will be the closest. It has all the basics, and a very nice
staff. But when your near the Siesta Key Village, the Siesta Market is
your best bet.

The
Siesta Market is a nice, medium
sized store.
They have a deli, fresh produce, beer, wine, and all the
other
grocery store stuff. The store is clean and the staff is
nice. It is a very convenient place to shop for the entire
Village. They even have a bike rack out front for all the
shoppers!
I stopped in the other day to
get a bite to eat. I only
needed lunch, so I headed to the deli. They had all the basic
beach grub. You Know, the good stuff like fried fish nuggets,
coleslaw, burgers, fries, and drinks.
Well
I got the fish
nuggets and fries all right. And I dunked them in tarter
sauce.
They were hot and good. But honestly the best part was
sitting in
front of the grocery store eating on there little table set ups.
It was nice to just sit there and do a little people watching.
Not
only do they sell laundry detergent, there is actually a laundry mat
connected to it. This is especially nice for those of you who
are
lucky enough to take an extended vacation.
Also,
just in case
you were planning on fixing up your rental house, there is a small
hardware store on the other end of the strip mall. Although
once
you need the hardware store, it's no longer a vacation.
Just thought I would warn you!
